Unfortunately for Ralph Branca, his legendary status will forever be linked to the momentous home run he served up to Bobby Thompson in 1951 that clinched the pennant for the New York Giants. Indeed, Giants announcer Russ Hodge's immortal words "The Giants win the pennant"…The Giants win the pennant" are directly tied to Thompson's game-ending blast off of Branca in the bottom of the ninth on October 3, 1951. As a magnificent Branca keepsake, presented here is a brilliant Barney Stein/Dodgers 8" x 10" PSA Type 1 "half-body" portrait image of the hard-throwing right-hander that just happens to be the image used for BOTH his 1950 and 1951 Bowman subjects.
