1929 World Series (Chicago Cubs vs. Philadelphia Athletics) Program with Original Mailing Envelope
Offered here is a 1929 World Series Program with the Original Envelope. The 1929 World Series was the Cubs vs. A's and the programs were very different in both of the cities. We are selling the one sold at Wrigley which measures 6" x 9". Featured on the cover are both managers, Connie Mack and Joe McCarthy. Incredibly, the string binding is still in-place on the side. The unmarked program is in overall NM+ condition and the pages show detailed graphics of players and coaches from both teams as well as a Wrigley Field rendering on back. Also included is an original mailing envelope in VG+ condition. An significant find issued 91 years ago when the A's beat the Cubs in 5 games.
