Circa 1908 "Our Home Team" Chicago Cubs Fold Out Accordion Postcard with Tinker, Evers, Chance and Mordecai Brown
RARE CUBS FIND!!! The offered 112 year old Accordion Postcard represents the Chicago Cubs 1908 Team that brought home a World Championship. We present a very desirable Cubs piece of historical memorabilia. This standard sized Postcard shows a game image that fills the background, with a brown flap above reading, "Our Home Team", opening to a hinged ribbon of paper showing images of 16 members of the 1908 Cubs squad, notably Tinker, Evers, Chance and Mordecai "Three Fingers" Brown.

A schedule of home games rises between the player images and the top flap. The back of the Postcard is stamped and dated September 13, 1908 Chicago Illinois and addressed to Everett Whitehouse, with a little note about the Cubs being in the playoffs. Overall condition of the Postcard is VG+ with normal wear on the corners, but the ribbon of player images, measuring 2" x 16" when fully extended, is NM-MT. One of the rarest 1908 Chicago Cubs pieces of memorabilia we have ever offered!!!
