Mickey Mantle Last Home Run #537 Ticket Stub PSA 3 VG
It was 8-3-73 when Mickey Mantle hit his "537th" and last home run in an Old Timers game. Mantle hit this iconic homer off his old friend Whitey Ford, ushering in a new wave of nostalgia for Mantle. Ford grooved three pitches until the Mick cleared the fences, much to the delight of the sold-out crowd at the original Yankee Stadium. He hit his 536th homer on 9-20-68, over 5 years earlier than this bomb on 8-3-73. The combination of Mantle's "last" homer and his induction into the Hall of Fame the following year led to a resurgence in his popularity and the first autograph shows. The Ticket Stub has been graded a VG 3 by PSA.
