1972 Photo Sports Company Los Angeles Dodgers Complete Set of 18 Discs "EXTREMELY RARE - NEVER RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC"
DODGERS RARE SET!!! Never released to the public, this new to the hobby Disc Set of 18 players are from the 1972 L.A. Dodgers. The colorful Discs measure 2-5/8" in diameter and have player stats on the back with the team logo. The fronts showcase images of the top players on the team. Photo Sports Company is based in Los Angeles and is best known for the 1974 McDonalds promotion called 'Photo Balls", which highlighted Dodger players by attaching cards to a plastic Baseball that when opened reveals the players. This set is similar in concept, which is why the base of each Disc has a "keyhole" punched out. These were never released and to find one or a full set is virtually impossible. Key players include: Alston, Gilliam, Sutton, Wills and more. This 18 Player Disc set is presented in MINT condition. We have never seen these offered and are excited for a Dodger fan to own this RARE FIND!!!
