1921-23 E220 National Caramel Near Trimmed Set 100/120 with Cobb, Johnson, Speaker and more
NEAR SET!!! Issued from 1921-23 by National Caramel, this near set of 100 of the 120 E220 cards issued is offered trimmed nicely and includes many Hall of Famers including Cobb, Johnson, Hornsby, Speaker and many more legends. These cards feature B&W photos with players name, position and team at the bottom. The back of the cards read "This set consists of 120 of the leading BASE BALL STARS - of the - AMERICAN AND NATIONAL LEAGUES - Made only by - NATIONAL CARAMEL COMPANY Lancaster, Penna." The set is comprised of 120 of the games greats from the early 20's with 115 different players, with 5 players on 2 cards each.

Half of the images in this set were the same images used for other Caramel series cards. This group of 100 different cards are all trimmed showing just the image not the white border around the card. Overall these cards are in EX condition with no creasing, just without the white border. Key players are as follows: Alexander, Baker, Bancroft, Cobb, Collins, Frisch, Heilman, Hornsby, Hoyt, Hubbell, Johnson, Judge, Meusel, Pennock, Pipp, Rice, Rousch, Sewell, Sisler, Speaker, Stengel & Wheat.
