(LOT 658)
1915 Cracker Jack #12 Connie Mack (PSA NM-MT 8)

Connie Mack managed the Philadelphia Athletics for 50 consecutive years, a staggering record that most likely will never be broken. Included in those 50 years were 9 pennant winners and 5 World Championships. Before he wore his managerial suit and Abe Lincoln like top-hat, he was a formidable 19th century player, handling every position except 3rd base and pitcher. One of his most desirable vintage cards continues to be his prestigious Cracker Jack subject, and with that in mind, presented here just happens to be a magnificent 1915 Cracker Jack of the immortal Cooperstown inductee in an extremely high-grade PSA NM/MT 8 holder. Currently, only twelve other specimens are listed on the illustrious PSA "Pop" Chart at this hallowed plateau, with a mere 4 examples graded higher!

Typical with all Connie Mack illustrations, this offering portrays the iconic manager in his period style formal attire that he consistently wore for 50 years as a manager. Set against a robust red background, Mack's classic pose depicts amazing crystal-clear clarity, with the well-centered image exhibiting only a slight "tilt" towards the upper right edge. Super clean borders, the relative absence of any caramel stains/creases and a brilliant verso complete this remarkable offering that stands tall as one of the finest examples you will ever come across. Connie Mack spent an amazing half-century managing the Philadelphia Athletics, and now is your golden opportunity to elevate your collection by capturing one of his premier PSA graded 1915 Cracker Jack relics that synonymous with Mack's resounding legacy has withstood the test of time!
