Curly Lambeau, John BLOOD McNally, Sammy Baugh & More Signed 1963 NFL Hall Of Fame Induction & Hall Of Fame Game Program 9/7-8/63 PSA/DNA LOA
On January 29, 1963, the inaugural class of enshrines for the Pro Football Hall of Fame were announced, which consisted of 17 players and executives that helped make professional football a reality. The first class of enshrines included 11 former players (Red Grange, Don Hutson, Dutch Clark, Bronko Nagurski, Mel Hein, Pete Henry, Cal Hubbard, Sammy Baugh, Johnny McNally, Ernie Nevers and Jim Thorpe), 1 founder/owner/coach (George Halas), and 5 owners/executives (Curly Lambeau, Bert Bell, Joe Carr, Tim Mara and George Marshall). On September 7th, 1963 at the Football Hall Of Fame in Canton, Ohio, a group of these Football Legends came together to celebrate this monumental day.

Our consignors Grandfather was lucky to not only be one of the attendees, but rub elbows with some of the legends during that weekend. With National Football Hall Of Fame Program in hand, his Grandfather went around and had the enshrines and guests sign this program in ball point pen. Players include the GREAT CURLY LAMBEAU signed on his photo page! John Blood McNally!!! Signed "John Blood" on his photo, Mrs. Pete Henry, Ernie Nevers, Bronko Nagurski, Mel Hein, Don Hutson, Sammy Baugh and more. Following that day, on September 8th, 1963, the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cleveland Browns 16-7 at Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio in the Hall Of Fame Game. An incredible Football Hall Of Fame Weekend for this then youngster to be able to meet his heroes of the GRIDIRON. Program has been fully authenticated by PSA/DNA.
