Kirby Puckett BB HOF'er Louisville Slugger C243 Game Used Bat PSA GU 10 PSA LOA & Mike Smithson Player LOA
This Kirby Puckett Professional Model Bat has been deemed a HIGH-GRADE PSA/DNA GU 10 from PSA' and John Taube's grading standards. A very high grade for this C243 model bat is un-cracked and exhibits evidence of outstanding use. Very slight checking (grain swelling) from repeated ball contact is on the back barrel on this 34.5 inch Ash wood black finish bat. Ball marks include blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Cleat marks can be seen on the right and back barrel. There is a light coat of pine tar on the handle and center brand.

Puckett's player number (34) is written on the knob in green and silver marker and there is a faded (34) on the top of the barrel. A Kirby Puckett autograph with the player number and the added inscription "To the Big Dog All My Best Always" is on the upper barrel in gold. The signature has been PSA/DNA Pre-Certified. The bat is accompanied by a Letter Of Authenticity from former MLB pitcher Mike Smithson as well as an autographed photo of Smithson inscribed, ""Enjoy The Kirby Puckett Bat, Mike Smithson". LOA from PSA/DNA for Bat and PSA/DNA Pre-Certified for signature. By far an unbelievable specimen and a highlight to your Game Used bat collection. This bat comes directly from the collection of former Minnesota Twins pitcher, Mike Smithson. Smithson and Puckett were teammates during the 1984-1987 season.
