Jim Bottomley Signed Canceled Check PSA/DNA Encapsulated
Jim Bottomley autographs are elusive enough, but to find a canceled bank check with "Sunny Jim's" signature, even for advanced canceled check collectors, is a tall task indeed. Dated 1939 and written out for $14.70 to Standard Oil. Several endorsement stamps appear on the back with cancellation punch holes barely infringing upon the signature. A tough signature on a tough check! Playing for the Cardinals against Brooklyn at Ebbets Field on September 16, 1924, Bottomley set the all-time single game RBI record with 12. Bottomley was inducted into the Hall Of Fame in 1974. PSA/DNA Authenticated.
