Ty Cobb Signed Canceled Check PSA/DNA Encapsulated GEM MINT 10

This FIRST NATIONAL BANK of NEVADA Ty Cobb Signed Cancelled Check was written on April 26th, 1960. Cobb writes a check out to C.B. Marriage for $100.00. Written in 1960, Cobb was a little over one year before he would pass. Signature on this check is as bold as it gets, written in a dark, bold, steel tip pen, making this a GEM MINT 10 by PSA authenticating standards. GEM MINT 10 is as good as it gets! Nicknamed The "Georgia Peach", Cobb was born in rural Narrows, Georgia. Cobb spent 22 seasons with the Detroit Tigers, the last six as the team's player-manager, and finished his career with the Philadelphia Athletics. In 1936 Cobb received the most votes of any player on the inaugural Baseball Hall of Fame ballot, receiving 222 out of a possible 226 votes (98.2%); no other player received a higher percentage of votes until Tom Seaver in 1992. In 1999, editors at the Sporting News ranked Ty Cobb third on their list of "Baseball's 100 Greatest Players. This is one great check to catch! PSA/DNA Authenticated.
