George Brett BB HOF'er Louisville Slugger C271 - 1988-89 Game Used Bat PSA GU 9.5 PSA LOA & Mike Smithson Player LOA
This George Brett Professional Model Bat has been deemed a HIGH-GRADE PSA GU 9.5 from PSA' and John Taube's grading standards. A very high grade for this C271 model bat which exhibits evidence of excellent use with a slight crack in the lower handle, that was used in 1988-89. Several ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the right, left and back barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers. Cleat marks can be seen on the left barrel. Also visible on the front barrel are blue bat rack streaks.

There is a light coat of pine tar on the lower handle and a heavy coat on the upper handle. "LOU" is written on the knob in blue marker. A George Brett autograph is on the front barrel in black marker which has been PSA/DNA Pre-Certified. The bat is accompanied by a Letter Of Authenticity from former MLB pitcher Mike Smithson as well as an autographed photo of Smithson inscribed, ""Enjoy The George Brett Bat, Mike Smithson". LOA from PSA/DNA for Bat and PSA/DNA Pre-Certified for signature. By far an unbelievable specimen and a highlight to your Game Used bat collection.
