Roberto Clemente Multi-Signed Wilson Baseball Glove With Bold Near Mint Signatures PSA/DNA LOA
Baseball Hall Of Famer Roberto Clemente, Hall Of Fame Friends and Stars have signed this Wilson Baseball Glove. Along with Clemente, other players who've signed the glove include Willie Stargell, Bill Mazeroski, Frank Robinson, Brooks Robinson and Lefty Grove. Other notable signatures found on the glove are Maury Wills and Frank Howard. This is by far one of the cleanest Clemente signatures we've ever seen on a glove let alone anything signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Hall Of Famer. Clemente's signature is very tough to find on a baseball glove. In the couple instances we've seen a signed glove, the signatures have been faint and light. This glove is also fresh to the hobby coming with the following story which serves as some amazing provenance. Per our consignor, "at an exhibition game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Baltimore Orioles in the spring of 1968, a man who owned a major reconditioning outfit in East Stroudsburg, Pa., was granted access to both baseball dugouts.

In each dugout, he passed around the glove for various autographs. He took it home and gave it to his son, an eighth grader. His son kept it through high school. When the son entered college as a freshmen, he gave it to me. I was his roommate at the time, and happened to be a huge Roberto Clemente fan. I kept the glove for 46 years, and now want to sell it. The glove has eleven signatures, including six Hall of Famers: Roberto Clemente, Willie Stargell, Bill Mazeroski, Frank Robinson, Brooks Robinson and Lefty Grove.
