ULTRA RARE FIND!!! New to the hobby, this group of 13 different 1953-54 Briggs Meats Cards are all PSA Graded Authentic Hand Cut. Issued in 1953-54 the set featured 28 players from the Senators and 12 from the New York Teams. They were issued in 2 card panels on hot dog packages sold in the Washington DC vicinity. The color cards, which are blank-backed measure 2-1/4" x 3-1/2". Pictures of the New York players can also be found in the 1954 Dan-Dee Potato Chips & 1953-1955 Stahl-Meyer Franks sets. Fronts of the cards showcase an image of a player and a facsimile signature. The Washington Senator cards always demand a premium because of scarcity. The offered group are all PSA Authentic Hand Cut and consists of the following players: Fitzgerald, Marrero, Masterson, Mueller, Oldis, Porterfield, Runnels, Scull, Terwilliger, Umphlett, Veron, Vollmer & Yost.
