Measuring approximately 2-1/2" x 3-1/2", these extremely colorful cards include the player's pose within a bi-colored oval with a large team name affixed across the top. The versos included the player's "year-by-year" statistics (as opposed to just the prior year's stats), as well as a brief "bio" and rogue hockey fact. Some of the 26 Hall of Famers (20% of the set) include hockey legends such as Bobby Orr, Bobby Hull, Phil Esposito, Stan Mikita, Jacques Plante, Ed Giacomin, Henri Richard, Tony Esposito, Gordie Howe and the highly coveted ROOKIE-CARD of immortal Canadians goaltender Ken Dryden.

Regarding the overall grades of this pinnacle compilation and virtually hard to comprehend is that this miraculous 132-card grouping actually includes 94 "PSA Gem Mint 10" subjects that encompass a staggering 71% of the set! Rounding out the remaining 38 cards are 37 "PSA Mint 9's" and a single "PSA NM/MT 8". Indeed, it is nearly inconceivable to grasp the concept of a 49-year old set residing at a "MINT" to "GEM MINT" level, and we can only assume that only a handful of sports card gatherings approaching their 50th birthday can possibly compete with his time-defying marvel.
