Bottom of the 1st, Sandberg RBI singles to tie the game. The Cards respond with 6 run top of the 2nd making the score 7-1. Bottom of the 5th, Sandberg brings in another run on a RBI groundout. Top of the 6th, McGee hits a 2 Run Homer. Cards 9-3. Bottom of the 6th, Hebner RBI singles, Dernier doubles for 2 more runs and Sandberg comes in and hits a 2 Run single to make the score 9-8. Facing Bruce Sutter in the bottom of the 9th, With what fans thought was going to be an out, Sandberg faces Sutter and cracks a LEAD OFF HOME RUN!

Tying the game. Top of the 10th, Cards then plated 2 more runs! Ugh. 11-9. The JOY at Wrigley seemed to be short lived. Dernier walks, Sandberg comes up, with already 5 RBI's under his belt, SANDBERG's 2 RUN HOME RUN ties the game! 11-11. The crowd is running wild. Cards fans are in a state of shock.
