Group of (2) 1965 Topps Push-N-Pulls Near Sets with Mantle/Berra & Ruth/Gehrig SGC Graded

2 NEAR SETS!!! Offered here is a group of (2) near sets of this Baseball and Non-sports issue from 1965. This series of oversized and unique undervalued cards from Topps Test market were regionally sold in 1965. The 36 card set novelty set had a louvered shutter attached to a tab at the bottom. When the tab is moved, from position to position, each of the underlying photos each of the photos is revealed in turn. The cards measure 2-1/2" x 4-11/16". Backs are printed in B&W and contain biographical data. The set features 2 Very Rare Baseball cards as follows: Mantle/Berra & Ruth/Gehrig. Some of the key Non-sport names are as follows: Sitting Bull, Kitty Hawk, Winston Churchill, George Washington, Uncle Sam, Bobby Darin, United States Flag, White House, Mt. Rushmore, Taj Mahal, Statue of Liberty, Eifel Tower, Rock Hudson, Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, Queen Elizabeth, Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Mona Lisa & Mark Twain.

The first Partial set contains 24/36, with glue remnants on front that are difficult to see, but still there. Overall High Grade NM or better with glue remnants on the front. Missing from the set are numbers 6, 7, 10, 15, 17, 19, 23, 26, 28, 31, 34 and 35. All 24 cards do have the rare louver. Partial set #2 has 30/36 with glue stains on backs but the fronts are NM or better. This near set Includes #6 Mantle/Berra & #17 Ruth/Gehrig that are both SGC graded Authentic. They look NM or better but due to the minor glue residue on the front, they received an Authentic grade. Missing from this near set are numbers 7, 19, 20, 28, 31 and 34. This near set has 2 cards with louvers. Overall there are 54 cards out of 72 for 2 sets, with 26 louvers and 2 of the cards SGC graded. Great opportunity to own these RARE Test Issue cards issued 54 years ago.
