Circa Early 1930's Cast Metal Chicago Cubs CUB Standing Over Baseball & Bat (Chicago Consignor)
This cast metal statue represents the Mascot for the Chicago Cubs. An early 1930's Cast Metal Cub standing on top of a yellow bat and white baseball. This is truly one of the scarcest Cubs circa 1930's items we have ever offered. We came across one used on top of an ash tray where the asking price was $2,000 and nowhere near the EX-MT shape this one is in. Paint is also in EX-MT condition with some weathering. Common for an item almost 90 years of age. A great piece of Chicago Cubs history.
