(LOT 952)
Dizzy Dean Single Signed Baseball - Full PSA/DNA LOA

Legendary Hall of Famer twirler Dizzy Dean will forever be considered one of the most popular and admired players to ever grace a baseball diamond. By the age of 26 he had already won an incredible 134 games and was on his way to being a sure 300 game winner until a line drive in the 1937 All Star game off the bat of Earl Averill struck his toe. Still, Dean's collectibles continue to draw vast interest from hobbyists, with one of them being this single-signed baseball portraying a bold black fountain pen script in "7/8" strength.

True, the signature has been protected by two vintage pieces of tape; however, the autograph still exhibits extremely bold aesthetics, with the horsehide sphere's brown toning and stray notches not diminishing the stellar eye appeal of the hallowed script. A superb Dizzy Dean memento, it conjures up memories of how this flamboyant fireballer dominated the pitching rubber in superior fashion before his untimely injuries shortened his otherwise brilliant career! - Full PSA/DNA LOA
