MAYS!!! Most baseball historians arguably choose Willie Mays as our National Pastime's greatest all-around player and why not? He walloped 660 round trippers, batted over .300 lifetime, stole bases, could run down virtually any fly ball and had a literal "Cannon" for a throwing arm. His legacy was solidified by his miraculous "over the shoulder" catch in the deepest confines of the Polo Grounds in game one of the 1954 World Series.
