Walter Johnson donates $10.00 to the Rockville Volunteer Fire Department on February 27th, 1943. Johnson signs this Germantown Bank check in a strong fountain tip pen making this autograph a MINT 9 per PSA's grading standards. Often thought of as one of the greatest pitchers of all time, Johnson was nicknamed "Barney" and "The Big Train". He was a right-handed pitcher who played his entire 21-year baseball career for the Washington Senators (1907–1927). He later served as manager of the Senators from 1929 through 1932 and for the Cleveland Indians from 1933 through 1935. A rare check you don't want to miss. PSA/DNA MINT 9.
