Jim Gilliam Game Used Hillerich & Bradsby K55 Model Bat from 1965-66 PSA/DNA LOA
This Un-cracked 35 inch, 34.8 ounce Hillerich & Bradsby Ash Model K55 bat from the labeling period of 1965-1966 was used by Dodgers Baseball Legend, Jim Gilliam. Leading Bat Expert John Taube and PSA state that, "Hillerich & Bradsby model K55 Jim Gilliam professional model bat is un-cracked and displays game ready to light use. The model (K55) is stamped into the knob and the weight (34) is written on the knob in pencil. Gilliam's player number (19) is written on the knob and the top of the barrel in fading marker ". Taube concludes that" After a thorough examination of this Jim Gilliam professional model bat and its player use characteristics, it is our opinion that the bat is authentic as described". Gilliam game used bats are very tough to find. PSA/DNA LOA included.
