(LOT 1088)
Don Drysdale Game Used Hillerich & Bradsby H178 Model Bat from 1964 PSA/DNA LOA

This Un-cracked 35.5 inch, 34.5 ounce Hillerich & Bradsby Ash Model H178 bat from the labeling period of 1964 was used by Dodgers Baseball Hall Of Fame Pitcher Don Drysdale. Leading Bat Expert John Taube and PSA state that, "Hillerich & Bradsby model H178 Don Drysdale professional model bat is uncracked and displays game ready to light use. The model (H178) is stamped into the knob and Drysdale's player #53 is written in fading black marker. There is an inscription on the front barrel that has faded and is currently illegible". Taube concludes that" After a thorough examination of this Don Drysdale professional model bat and its player use characteristics, it is our opinion that the bat is authentic as described". Drysdale game used bats are very tough to find. PSA/DNA LOA included.
