Mel Ott Signed Albertype B&W HOF Plaque Type 2 PSA/DNA
A dead-pull left-handed slugger, Master Melvin and the Polo Grounds' short right field porch were a match made in heaven, responsible for the expansion of the 500 Home Run Club to a trio. Ott's fatal automobile accident in 1958 has made his the scarcest of signatures from the Club, and we find a marvelous 9/10 fountain pen example on this black and white plaque postcard issued shortly after his Cooperstown induction. Encapsulated "Authentic" by PSA. Address is in Ott's handwriting on reverse. Very strong signature.
