It is surely no secret that outside of the playing field, the immortal George Herman "Babe" Ruth was one of the most benevolent athletes around the globe. Simply stated, "The Babe" adored virtually every youth he met, and this extremely eclectic PSA Type 1 c.1920's image portrays the Bambino taking a photoshoot with an avid Girl Scout fan. Taken with Ruth donning his period style "New York" road uniform, the Girl Scout poster held by Ruth in his colossal sized left hand. The central image emanates sensational contrast and clarity, with the upper left quadrant reflecting some negligible surface imperfections. The only major flaws worthy of mention are the two areas of missing paper stock near the upper right and lower left corners/borders. The verso reveals the critical Underwood & Underwood credit stamp. - Full PSA Type I LOA
