1980-1983 P89 Gary Carter Game Used Louisville Slugger Bat (PSA/DNA GU 9)
This 35", 32.8 ounce ASH bat from the labeling period 1980-1983 was used by Baseball Hall Of Famer Gary Carter. Leading Bat Expert John Taube and PSA state that, "After a thorough examination of this Gary Carter professional model bat and its player use characteristics, it is our opinion that the bat is authentic and was game used by Gary Carter during the referenced labeling period.

The bat exhibits use and possesses identifiable player use characteristics. We have assigned the bat a grade of PSA/DNA GU 9.". They also state that the bat has "excellent use with a handed crack. Player number 8 is written on the knob and top barrel in black marker. Elected to the Hall of Fame in 2003, Gary Carter was an 11-time all-star and a fan favorite throughout his career. "The Kid" used this Louisville Slugger P89 from 1980-1983 during which he made the NL All-Star squad each summer (1981 MVP), won three Gold Glove Awards and two Silver Slugger Awards.
