1962 World Series Game 1 FULL TICKET Yankees-6 Giants - 2 Oct. 4 Whitey Ford - WS Win #10 of 10 PSA 6 EX-MT
Graded an EX-MT 6 by PSA Ticket Grading Standards, this is a full ticket and a great addition to your World Series ticket collection! This was Whitey Ford's 10TH OF 10 W.S. win! The 1962 World Series matched the defending American League and World Series champions New York Yankees against the National League champion San Francisco Giants. It is best remembered for its dramatic conclusion; with runners on second and third and two out in the bottom of the ninth inning of Game 7, Hall-of-Famer Willie McCovey hit an exceptionally hard line drive that was caught by second baseman Bobby Richardson to preserve a one-run victory for the Yankees.
