c.1960's Hank Aaron PSA Type I Original Photo – Measures Approx. 6" x 9-1/2" - PSA Type I LOA
Called up by the Braves for the 1954 season, Hank Aaron would eventually clout 179 Home Runs before the end of the decade. "Hammerin Hank" would continue his assault on ballpark's fences during the 1960's, adding an additional 375 round-trippers to his 50's total that would place him at 554 homers by the end of the 1969 season and only 160-short of the immortal Babe Ruth's 714 figure. As a testament to his amazing 1960's run of average 37.5 dingers thru the decade, presented here is an outstanding PSA Type I c.1960's portrait image of the legendary slugger.
Measuring approximately 6" x 9-1/2", it exhibits breathtaking contrast and clarity, portraying a brilliant smile from the iconic Aaron donning his Milwaukee Braves cap and uniform. Its only obvious blemish appears to be evidence of modest trimming to both the right and left edges. No obtrusive surface flaws are evident and the verso reveals some negligible stray notations. No image could possibly better depict Hank Aaron's "good-natured" persona than this truly remarkable offering that emanates unparalleleld world-class aesthetics! - LOA – PSA/DNA Type I
