(LOT 719)
Mickey Mantle's Two All-Star Ticket Stub Home Run Games – 1955 at Milwaukee's County Stadium (PSA 5) & 1956 at Washington's Griffith Stadium (PSA 3)

It is no secret that the great Mickey Mantle still owns baseball's record for the most World Series home runs with his renowned 18 round-trippers a truly majestic mark. While "The Mick" played in an astounding 12 Fall Classics, he also was selected to an incredible 20 Mid-Summer Classic All-Star games. While his All-Star game batting prowess was nowhere near the level of his World Series performances, he did manage to clout two home runs in the 1955 and 1956 mid-summer classic games.

Presented here are the two ticket stubs for both those games; a PSA 5 for the 1955 game played at Milwaukee's County Stadium and a PSA 3 for the 1956 game at Washington's Griffith Stadium. Belting his homers off of two Hall of Famers, in the 1955 game, Mantle walloped a Robin Roberts pitch into the seats while the 1956 contest saw Mickey take the legendary southpaw Warren Spahn out of the park. A "neat" pair of the "Commerce Comet's" two All-Star Game home run tickets, we would advise any serious Mantle collector to capture these seldom surfacing mementos!
