Cy Young Signed Government Postcard Dated 1955 PSA/DNA Pre-Certified
Cy Young signed this Government Postcard in February of 1955. Sent from People, Ohio, this postcard traveled over 145 miles to Springfield, Ohio where fan, Dick Faulkner became a lucky man to receive such a great keepsake dating over 60 years ago. During his 22-season baseball career (1890–1911), Young pitched for 5 different teams. Young established numerous pitching records, some of which have stood for a century. Young compiled 511 wins, which is most in Major League history and 94 ahead of Walter Johnson, second on the list. Young was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937. This GPC is PSA/DNA Pre-Certified.
