MATTY!!!... The iconic Christy Mathewson "Hands at Chest" Carl Horner image stands as one of our National Pastime's most defining illustrations. It personifies "turn of the century" baseball with the immortal illustration emanating Matty as the lord of world-class pitchers. No wonder the ATC chose to utilize this image for two of their three Mathewson T206 subjects, with this superb PSA 5 "Dark Cap" T206 Matty offering one of the most revered pre-war cards in our illustrious hobby. One look at this timeless artifact "turns back the clock" to an era when Matty was the king of the hill, and you can literally feel his unparalleled intensity as he prepares to launch another one of his seemingly un-hittable "fadeaways".
