1929 R316 Kashin Publication Babe Ruth PSA 8 NM-MT
VINTAGE RUTH!!!... This set of 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" blank backed cards included 101 different players, including the offered Babe Ruth in a pop 4 PSA 8 NM-MT holder. The cards featured a B&W photo with the players name printed in script at the bottom along with the players team and league. They were issued in 25 card boxes series and are extremely scarce. Ruth, of course, is the key card to the distinctively designed R316 set.

To find an example of this quality of even a common player is next to impossible, let alone the key card to the set, Babe Ruth. Perfectly clean, both front and back, with four strong corners, beautiful picture quality, and near-perfect centering. Few cards of Ruth date from the 1920s. Issued during the short window of time between the strip cards of the early 1920s and the colorful bubble-gum cards of the early 1930s, this card has always been appreciated for its powerful image of Ruth. A remarkable ultra high-grade example of this classic Ruth card.
