(LOT 480)
1939-'46 Salutations – Bill Dickey (PSA 8) - "1 of 3"; HIGHEST GRADED!

Extremely popular among collectors are the Salutation Exhibit cards distributed from 1939 to 1946 and presented here is one of its premier Cooperstown inductees, the great Yankee catcher Bill Dickey in a breathtaking PSA 8 holder. One of only 3 at this elevated tier, it stands alongside two other examples as the finest of its kind!

No one would argue that along with Yogi Berra and Thurman Munson, Bill Dickey stands as one of the three greatest Yankee catchers ever, with his #8 eventually retired for both him and Berra. A premier cardboard artifact of one of the New York Yankee all-time players, its "best of the best" technical assessment is surely synonymous with the legendary player portrayed on this timeless artifact!
