(LOT 414)
1949 Bowman #226 Duke Snider Rookie PSA 8.5 NM-MT+

THE DUKE!!!... Edwin "Duke" Snider, nicknamed "The Silver Fox" and "The Duke of Flatbush", was a Major League Baseball center fielder and left-handed batter who played for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers (1947–62), New York Mets (1963), and San Francisco Giants (1964). Snider was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1980. One of the games great, Duke Snider is always on high end collectors want lists. There is just a handful of cards grading higher than this 8.5 NM-MT+ of Duke Snider on his Rookie card from 1949. A pristine example with deep rich color and titanium sharp razor corners. Dead on centering front and back. The condition of this card will please even the most discerning of collectors. Add this impressive example of a great HOF player from the popular Brooklyn Dodger teams. A Bum would love to have this card in their collection!!!
