1958 Topps #150 Mickey Mantle (PSA 8)
Mantle's 1958 Topps gem presented here in a brilliant PSA 8 holder. Its relative high-grade scarcity is justified by only 4% of the 4,400+ PSA encapsulated copies achieving this plateau and a fractional 0.6% graded higher! What we do know with 100% certainty is that the pricing points for all of "The Mick's" '50's and '60's high-grade subjects continue to soar at a seemingly uncontrollable level, with the most advanced collectors rapidly jumping on the Mantle bandwagon.

The card itself exhibits a flawless autumn orange background that strongly emanates Mantle's crystal clear portrait pose. No glaring surface flaws are evident, the razor sharp perimeter includes four right-angled corners, and the classic image is relatively well centered between four dazzling white borders, only depicting a modest trace of favoritism towards the upper edge. One of the tougher '50's mantle issues to find in high-grade, it would make a magnificent addition to any world-class PSA Registered compilation!
