1910-1912 Sweet Caporal PSA Graded MASTER Pin Set 205/205 Registry Set #5 GPA 5.957
COMPLETE PSA SET!!! The American Tobacco Company issued a set of 205 pins in 1910-12. The sepia toned pins measure 7/8" in diameter. The set includes 152 different players including numerous "Large Letter" and "Small Letter" variations which complete the 205 pin MASTER Set. Fifty of the players are featured on a second pin that usually has the same image but has a "Larger" print. Two players have 3 pins including Bresnahan and Wallace. This collection includes Bresnahan/Mouth Open and Mickey Doolin/Large Letter, the 2 short prints. The back of each pin has a colored paper insert advertising Sweet Caporal Cigarettes. The pins are closely related to the T205 Gold Border Tobacco cards, also issued by American Tobacco Company.

All but 9 of the players featured in the pin set were also pictured on T205 cards, and in nearly all cases, the photos are identical. Offered is a magnificent collection of these pins all graded by PSA with some of the key pins as follows: Bender Small PSA 8, both Bresnahan's PSA 6's, Brown Small PSA 8, Cicotte PSA 6, COBB SMALL PSA 8, COBB LARGE PSA 6, both Collins PSA 6's, Evers PSA 5, Griffith Large PSA 9, Huggins Large PSA 8, BOTH WALTER JOHNSONS's PSA 6's, Lajoie PSA 7, BOTH MATHEWSON's PSA 6's, both Speaker's PSA 5's, Tinker Small PSA 6, Wheat Small PSA 6, YOUNG LARGE PSA 7 and YOUNG SMALL PSA 6. Overall a spectacular fully graded Pin set from 1910-12.
