RARE MARIS!!!… Offered is a 4" x 5" blank-backed Roger Maris card that was issued in 1962 with Gold Mine brand products from Gehl's Ice Cream Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. These unnumbered cards were only produced in the Milwaukee region, and were intended to honor the 61 home runs hit by Maris in 1961. The black-and-white, thin stock cards carry facsimile autographs of Maris with inscriptions that read, "To my Gold Mine Pal, Roger Maris." This is one of 6 cards produced and is 1 of 3 graded by SGC with 1 card grading higher. Ultra RARE Maris!!!
