THE GREAT ONE!!! Gretzky joined the Rangers in 1996, reuniting with longtime friend and former Edmonton Oilers teammate Mark Messier. Although he was in the final chapter of an illustrious NHL career, Gretzky's time with the Rangers still showcased his incredible playmaking skills, and he continued to captivate fans at Madison Square Garden until his retirement in 1999. The Starter white jersey in size 52-R, carries the 1996-97 Rangers logo with the head of Lady Liberty. The reverse carries the Gretzky name with the number 99. The Great One has autographed this in silver metallic ink midway through the first "9" with a 99 following his signature. Jersey has been certified WG Authentic. WGA COA.
