1961 Post Cereal Uncut Panel Collection of 7 Panels Containing 44 Cards
Two hundred different ballplayers are included in the 1961 Post Cereal baseball set which were individually hand-cut from boxes of cereal. By the numbers, 30% of the issues feature Hall of Famers and all were cut from panels much like the seven offered here, consisting of one 7-card panel, two 6-card panels, two 7-card panels each missing one card, one 5-card panel with a vertical crease, and one near-panel missing two cards. This is a factory panel that includes perforations with Mays and McCovey. While this lot has very few noteworthy names, it is very likely that there are many high-grade cards to be cut off from the panels. Newly crowned home run king, Roger Maris is joined here by Hall of Fame cards like Orlando Cepeda, Gil Hodges, Willie Mays and Willie McCovey
