1955 Topps Double Header Complete Set Graded and Ungraded
DOUBLE HEADER SET!!! Reminiscent of the 1911 T201 Mecca Double Folders, the 1955 Topps Double Header set offered here features the stars of the day including 10 Hall of Famers. This unique full set includes 42 SGC-graded examples and two dozen ungraded issues. The 66-card set featured the Major Leaguers including Hall of Famers Ted Williams, Jackie Robinson, Al Kaline, Harmon Killebrew and Ernie Banks, among others. The offered includes three SGC 7.5, seven SGC 7, five SGC 6.5, 12 SGC 6, six SGC 5.5, six SGC 5, and one SGC 4.5, 4 and 3 examples; the remaining 24 are ungraded. Key issues include: Spahn/Brewer (6 EX-NM), Williams/Smith (5.5 EX+), Aaron/Herbert (5 EX) and Robinson/Hoak (3 VG). Kaline is PR due to moderate corner wear and paper loss to the front surface, and the majority of the remaining ungraded cards would grade VG-EX to EX with several cards being off-cut. Current estimated value of just the graded cards is over $3,400.
