CONCRETE CHARLIE!!! Chuck Bednarik played linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles for 14 seasons and was one of the most ferocious tacklers in NFL history. Known as "The Hit", Bednarik knocked NY Giants halfback Frank Gifford unconscious with a tackle in 1960, putting Gifford out of football for more than 18 months. Offered is his 1952 Bowman Large issue in a PSA 8. Only a single card is graded higher.
