On June 8, 1969, Mickey Mantle's #7 was retired by the Yankees in front of 61,000 fans. Joe DiMaggio presented Mantle with a plaque as the ceremony showcased Mantle's record. Included is a pamphlet from the April 1969 Sport Magazine, distributed at Yankee Stadium, signed as "Mickey Charles Mantle".
