1984 Star #288 Michael Jordan PSA 6 EX-MT
JORDAN ROY!!! Michael Jordan became the first athlete to become a billionaire, forging his path based on the pursuit of excellence, perseverance, teamwork and intelligence. However, as an 18-year-old, MJ could not have imagined achieving such success as he led his North Carolina Tar Heels to the 1982 NCAA Championship to earn the ACC Rookie of the Year. It's hard to imagine him thinking of the possibilities even at 21 when the Chicago Bulls made him the third overall pick in the 1984 NBA Draft and he proceeded to win the NBA ROY even despite Chicago's 38-44 record. Endorsements, including Gatorade and the Air Jordan Nike brands; salaries that at one point exceeded $33M, five NBA MVPs and six NBA Championships and NBA Final MVPs all assisted in making MJ the richest professional athlete in history. Offered here is a 1984 Star #288 Michael Jordan issue in a PSA 6. This final card in the set is one of three Jordans in the series and displays bold colors, sharp edging and clean surfaces.
