1951 Bowman Red Menace Complete PSA Registered Set - #3 on Set Registry with 8.05 GPA

RED MENACE!!!... In 1951, the Red Menace (Communism) was the scourge of the Earth. Shortly after the Korean War began, Communism was spreading and the United States, only five to six years removed from World War II, found themselves amidst a Cold War against Communist forces. Even within our own borders, McCarthyism spread as a perceived threat that noteworthy Americans were Communists and enemies of America. The 1951 Bowman Red Menace set of 48 cards chronicled the fears and events surrounding the Cold War. Offered here is a 1951 Bowman Red Menace complete set all graded by PSA ranking #3 on the heralded Set Registry with a whopping 8.052 GPA. This set holds 44 PSA 8, one PSA 7.5, two PSA 7 and one PSA 6. The final card in the set Doughboy's General is offered in a PSA 8 with only a single issue graded higher. Seven of the issues are the highest graded examples with another 15 having only a single card graded higher. This is an incredible set to be sure, and with a little trading, you could make this #1.
