Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy Signed 7" x 5" Colorized Photo JSA LOA
Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy were the comedy team during the early Classical Hollywood era of American cinema. Starting their career as a duo in the silent film era, they later successfully transitioned to talkies. From the late 1920s to the mid-1950s, they were internationally famous for their slapstick comedy, with Laurel playing the clumsy, childlike friend to Hardy's pompous bully. Offered here is a 7" x 5" colorized photo of both Laurel the klutz and Hardy the bully, signed by both in a blue fountain tip pen. Inscribed "Thanks", it's tough to find a photo signed by the duo that's not personalized these days. A great keepsake from the men who made the jump from the silent film era to slapstick comedy.
