Orson Welles Signed Cancelled Check June 20th, 1960 PSA/DNA Authentic
Drawn from Barclays Bank Limited of the Piccadilly Circus Branch on June 27, 1960 for 63 pounds and 13 shillings, this check has been signed by Orson Welles. Welles rose to international fame as the director and narrator of a radio adaptation of H. G. Wells's novel The War of the Worlds, terrifying many listeners and nearly inciting pandemonium around the country. Three years later, he released arguably the greatest film of all time, Citizen Kane. In 1960, Welles starred in Crack in the Mirror, released only weeks before this check was written.
