This check, professionally framed to an overall size of 20" x 18", contains one piece of aviation history. Dated January 3rd, 1945, this cancelled check was signed by Orville Wright to WALKERS for $4.12. Born in 1871, Wright was an aviation pioneer credited with inventing, building, and flying the world's first successful airplane with his brother Wilbur. They made the first engine-powered aircraft called the Wright Flyer and flew it on December 17th, 1903, four miles south of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. Framed with a beautiful matte and photos of the plane as well as a photo of the youngster, Orville Wright. Accompanied by an LOA from PSA/DNA.
