Tiger Woods Signed U.S. Amateur Cap PSA/DNA LOA
TIGERS SIGNED!!! In 1995, now a Stanford Cardinal, Tiger Woods won his second of three consecutive U.S. Amateur Golf Championships at the Newport Country Club in Rhode Island. Newport Country Club was the origin of the USGA championship as the tournament marked its centennial anniversary. And who better to win the title than a 20-year-old who would forever change the game of golf. Offered here is a U.S. Amateur cap signed by Tiger Woods on the underside of the bill. Though this cap does not come from the Newport Country Club, it is evident that nearby courses in the Rhode Island area also capitalized on the events chosen local location. This navy blue Wanumetonomy Golf & Country Club cap featured the US Amateur text and American flag on the face above the tan suede bill. The underside of the green bill has been signed by Tiger Woods at center, appearing to be about "7-9" strength, given that it is written on colored cloth. This is a great piece from Woods' start to his historic career!
