1982-83 Maryland Basketball Team-Signed RARE Oversized Schedule with Len Bias & 13 more PSA/DNA LOA - Measures Approx. 8" x 11"
One of those special players who possessed amazing leaping ability, a staggering physical stature and a uncanny ability creativity, Len Bias was considered one of the best players in the nation during his college days with the Maryland Terrapins. But that excellence ended in tragedy when, on June 19, 1986, shortly after the Boston Celtics selected the All-American forward second overall, Bias died of a cocaine overdose, stunning the sports world. This two-sided, oversized 8" x 11" 1982-83 Maryland Basketball schedule features a color photo of the 13-man team on the front as they pose in jackets and ties in front of the administration building. Bias appears at the bottom left, straight out of high school, looking young and sharp. Back of the photo lists game dates and opponents. Fourteen (including coach Lefty Driesell) blue ballpoint autographs average NM including "Len Bias #34" inscription at upper right. PSA/DNA LOA included.
