1919 World Series Game 2 Ticket Stub Reds-4, White Sox-2; Sallee-Williams PSA 3 (MK) VG
This rare original ticket stub from October 2, 1919, was issued for the game played at Redland Field, where the Cincinnati Reds beat the Chicago White Sox 4-2. White Sox pitcher Lefty Williams was in on the fix, and despite giving up three runs in the 4th inning, he put on a better show than Cicotte had the day before. This is definitely a very desirable stub, which has been graded by PSA as a 3 (MK). Slim Sallee, who won this game for the Reds, pitched in two World Series, both against the Chicago White Sox, and was a member of the victorious Reds in the infamous Black Sox 1919 World Series.
